"FAITH, FAMILY & COUNTRY" was the name of my chapter.
In this book, I honored the legacy of my deceased grandfather, John Cunningham Sr. who enormously impacted my life and my family.
"Daddy, Grumpy, Uncle John, and Mr. "C", as he was affectionately called, was born in the quaint settlement of Cabbage Hill, Crooked Island, Bahamas in 1933 to the late Sullivan and Ophelia Cunningham. Given the name John Ellis, he was the last of nine children. The youngest among his siblings, John was an advocate for family life, a leader, a provider, and most of all a devoted and loving husband to his beloved wife, Gwendolyn.
Three things were most important to my grandfather: Faith, Family, and Country."
